That falls into the second part of my comment then! The more expensive kindles appeal to a smaller set of us (*because* they are more expensive). My growing-older eyes need to additional clarity of the Voyage's print. I have a basic kindle too, but only for the rare in-bed reading. The Voyage gets read at least 2 hours most days; usually 5-6 hours on weekends.
