With the new version of Calibre, the Read version doesn't work. The On Device column is fine, but Calibre and Calibre Companion don't seem to be syncing, whichever option I try.
I've altered nothing, except updating to the newest version of Calibre. I'm running Calibre Companion on a Nexus 7 with Marshmallow android.

We need more information. As Dopedangel said, the cloud connection does not sync back to calibre, and it never has done so. Did you mean the Wireless Device connection? If not, did you use the WD connection in the past? If you are using the WD connection, syncing is-read back to calibre isn't working?
