It's a better deal than I've seen in quite a while. The deal is on their "Unlimited" (similar to others' premium plans, I think). The free term is a whopping 4 months! After the 4 months is over, the plan is just $9.99/month.

One of the questions peeps seem to have when they're checking into music subscription services is, "how big is the catalog?" Well, Google Play claims that you can "access 35 million songs." Of those 35 million, it seems, you can "add up to 50,000 songs from your computer and stream them anywhere for free."

Google Play does have, like all or most of its competitors, a free plan, also.

Find out probably everything that you need to know at this Google Play website.

UPDATE: Okay, Google Play is not being a nice person to play with. If you go to the link that I gave above, you will get a completely different webpage than I got initially, the one upon which I based my post above. And I typed the URL exactly as that of the website that opened for me! So, here are a couple of things to try: 1) scroll down to the very bottom of that webpage. There may be a button inviting you to subscribe; if so, click on it. That worked the first time that I tried it, but not the second time. 2) If that fails, look for a menu icon in the extreme lefthand corner. Click on it. I got an option to subscribe, and it took me to a webpage identical to the very first one that I got. The upshot is, you'll get all of the information that I got, and the opportunity to get the special trial period terms.
A big thank you

Didn't see that offer. Sign up successful.
