If you are going to save for a new device, I suggest the Kobo Aura H2O or the Kobo Aura Edition 2 because that way you can keep on using the same ePub eBooks without having to convert and maybe do some editing.

Also, if you use Overdrive and are not in the US, you can continue to use Overdrive.
