Definitely check Consumer Reports. Hopefully, they'll have some recent reviews and ratings. And they would almost certainly include information in their reviews and/or ratings that would tell you if a particular model has a reversible blade or not.

CR is definitely having a rough go of it now, financially. It's mainly because of the Internet and the plethora of websites that offer ratings and reviews on everything imaginable. Well, I can pretty well guarantee you that those sites don't have the testing equipment that CR does and don't put products through the paces like CR does. And CR doesn't accept advertising, which makes me have more confidence in their objectivity.

Another problem facing CR is that there are so many different products sold--everything from mattresses to lawnmowers to washing machines to toaster ovens . . . well, you get the idea. It's impossible to thoroughly cover even a small portion of all of the different kinds of products, much less cover every model, sold, even over, say, a year's time. That's why I hope that they'll have some recent reviews and ratings on food processors, that you could check.

BTW--I hate not to support CR by subscribing to it, but my local library has it as a digital magazine that I can retrieve at any time.

Didn't mean to write so much . . . .
