With the Aura ONE, the cover is touching the screen. Something like the above could be happening and triggering something that is preventing the device from sleeping properly.

This kind of makes sense, I've noticed that after closing the sleep cover sometimes the page had been turned or an image has even been zoomed in.
If this is indeed the cause of the battery drain then it should be solvable in software
