Well now, if I was to make an apple pie that I wanted guaranteed to be edible, not only would I use the Pillsbury refrigerated pie crusts (try them, they are better than frozen though you will need to buy a pie pan), I would also get canned apple pie filling.

Pies are not my specialty.
