Stranger in a Strange Land coming to TV

I can only help that Syfy does a faithful adaptation. This is the Heinlein book I have been waiting to see in a serious movie or TV mini-series for many years.

Quote:
Paramount TV and Universal Cable Productions are teaming up to develop Stranger in a Stranger Land into a TV series on Syfy, the companies announced Tuesday. Robert Heinlein’s novel will be adapted by Mythology Entertainment, Scott Rudin Productions, and Vecchio Entertainment.

The 1961 sci-fi book follows the adventures of Smith, a lifelong native of Mars who travels to Earth as a young adult as a part of an expedition. The Library of Congress celebrated it in its 2012 exhibition, “Books That Shaped America.”
