Newegg.com has an ASUS external CD/DVD writer for $19.99 (after you apply a discount code) with $0.99 rebate, and a $10 rebate, so it comes out to $11 plus possible sales tax and having to deal with a mail-in-rebate. Newegg seems to repeat this deal every month, and they often have an ASUS external CD/DVD writer and Blu-Ray reader that comes out to $20 after rebate, but apparently not this month.
