I don't have an opinion on CD prices; I don't know whether the Downpour sale prices are good, bad or indifferent. I'm not in the market, so it's irrelevant I hope it's a model that works for Downpour, as I'd like to see them succeed.

Yes, people are different, and we definitely look at this matter differently. Thanks for pointing out Downpour's advantages.
I had heard before, but forgotten when I made that post, that their audiobooks are DRM-Free. That's something that I've paid very little attention to about audiobooks, but may wish, in the future, that I had. The same holds true for ebooks.
The model seems to be working for Downpour, but I'm not privy to their balance sheet, income statements, and other financial documents, of course. They could go belly-up tomorrow. I wish for Downpour to succeed, for several reasons. I don't want to see any company fail. Well, except for Walmart and a few, much smaller, companies.
