BTW, Kate, the introductory text at the start of a book is called the "foreword". It's a completely different word to "forward" although it sounds the same.

LOL Harry, sorry about the typo. I admit to not always catching all my typos or spelling errors.
As the the different publishers, not that I noticed. It seems to be something a lot of Indie authors do.
Going through Goodreads, I see a lot of authors who "add to" box sets or just plain use the same title for a different collection.

are all a box set with the same title but different content. I have seen this with other collections and a few that the author has issued an updated version of the original novel or expanded a novella to a novel length work.
I just find it confusing as to why an author would continue to add to a box set. Is it a new marketing idea??
I just like to know when I go through my list of books read that it will continue to be the same book... not change next month. (yeah, getting old and stuck in my ways).
