I HATE this. It is the worst they have done so far.
Looks like a glitch to me. I was able to do it by:

1) advanced search
2) I picked Mystery from the Subjects
3) do the search
4) click on "Available now" (on the left)
5) click on "Date added" (on left)

and they appear to be sorted by date
