I'm "getting it" alright, but you're still incorrect. The only reason your "intellectual property"
exists in the first place is those 300 year old ideas. Otherwise, you would have
nothing, because there
was no legal right ascribed to writing before then.
You have the money the royalites provide, just like I have wages. I don't have to right to wages 100 years after I stop working, why should you? Don't tell me how
special your work is.
