You might have to use those to get the Kindle into USB boot mode.

One thing I do see - you will need to supply the load addresses for the Kindle.
Those can be found in any of the very many copies of the Kindle's boot output attached to posts here (probably the best thread - the one with 'fastboot' in its title).
