I have the silicone case - it add grip to an otherwise slippy phone. It came with two front screen protectors, but nothing for the back. The upside is that I feel safer for it being there, and the added grip is just reassuring.
Unfortunately, my case is shiny, which is really distracting when using the back of the phone which is just matte. However, until I find a matte case, this one is staying. I've broken one phone recently because I was careless when I didn't have a case.
After using the phone over the weekend, I am puzzled by the performance of the chip in the phone - I'm coming from an LG G3, which is a phone of comparable specs (in fact, the Yotaphone just edges it out), however, the animations I find can stutter quite badly when on my LG G3, I get no such issues with the same software, it's as if the chip is a far lower spec. I assume there must be some extreme throttling occurring. Perhaps it will improve with a newer firmware update.
On a plus point, I used Squid to write out some notes, and then sent it to the rear screen. I was then able to just use the written notes as my reference without having the glare of an lcd/oled screen distracting me.
Previously when I've done thing, I've typed out notes and then sent it to my kindle to do the same job. However, this phone just makes the whole process slick and simple. I didn't even type - I wrote with my finger, so two thumbs up from me for making this
