It's Monday, and that means another consecutive 5 days of free classical pieces from YourClassical!

The week begins with a free, lively, 4 minute 11 second, Johannes Brahms piece, Piano Quartet No. 3. Scherzo. It comes from a just-published (this month) Naxos album of Brahms Piano Quartets No.s 1 and 3. Pieces on the album are performed by Anton Barakhovsky (violin); Alexander Zemtsov (viola); Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt (cello); and Eldar Nebolsin (piano).

Find out more general information about the entire album here. There is a webpage for reviews of the album set up by Naxos, but owing to the very recent release of the album there is but one review at the present moment.

Think that you might want to download the piece? As always, there is a way to stream the piece, before "buying," at the piece's dedicated webpage. To download the free MP3, head to the same webpage and click on the "Direct MP3 download link."
