Just a question as I have not researched it myself. Do you know of any market where Amazon officially sells the Kindle and it is not the #1 e-reader?
As far as I know, anywhere they chose to set up shop, they dominate. But I have not heavily researched that in a while.

Maybe. But like the great iOS/Android debate, if the above is true, does the rest really matter?
The Kindle will continue to be the benchmark against which comparable devices are judged.
