This is the black version of Terisa de Morgan's case, on Amazon.de
I've ordered it. It only costs €8, and €3,50 for shipping. It should be here on Tuesday. It's even a bit cheaper than my KPW1 case, which cost something like €15 including shipping.
It provides everything I want in a slim fit cover:
- Stay shut (at least, the pictures say so) without any protrusions, clasps, or metal
- Sleep/wake function
- Folding backward
- Wrapped-around corners, especially on the bottom (or the cover is crap to hold)
I assume the cover also has a cutout on the back for the button.
Being a slim-fit cover also foregoes the need to make ugly cutouts in the front. My KPW1 cover has a cutout for the logo, but it's in the middle, on the bottom, and well done, so I don't mind it there. The KA1 cover would need a cutout on the top right for the light sensor, and most have a cutout on the lower left for the logo, which I think is totally useless. It looks ugly.
Ever seen a slide-in cover for a Kindle Voyage? That's just a joke. Cutouts for the light sensor, logo, and the side buttons. There isn't much of a front left on those covers. Readers with stuff on the front (Voyage, and to some extent, the KA1) *need* a slim-fit cover.
