Oh, it's impeccably made, and the packaging is awesome, with the cover being in a sleeve, in a plastic wrap, in a box, in an envelope.
However:
- I have specifically asked Noreve TWICE OVER if the cover would stay shut, even if I chose the version without a clasp:
<snip>
Well, it DOESN'T stay shut. This makes it completely unusable for me, as it is not being pressed shut in my bag; if I put it in my bag like that, it will open and turn the reader on.
- Second: When folded back, the reader shuts off into sleep mode. That is unusable. The wake/sleep magnet is too strong. (And no, I'm not going to jack around with magnet-blocking materials behind the back of the e-reader. This is a €60 cover. If a magnet-block was needed, it should have been in there already.)
- Third: With the slightest amount of pressure on the lower left corner, the reader pops free.

No, the cover doesn't "click" shut (with a magnet or something). But whenever I put my tablet in my bag (which is daily), it never opens either. And that one doesn't stay shut either. It's in fact even worse, as the cover is foldable.
I don't know about the sleep thingie, as I turned that off on both my H2O and my Aura One. It reacted even to the sleepcover of my Samsung tablet... So, whenever I put the samsung tablet on top of the ereader, it would turn on...
And yes, it pops free easier than the Gecko on my H2O. Which I find a good thing, as I do like to use my reader in a wet environment. And while the reader might be able to withstand that, I like to keep the covers waterfree if I can. I always am afraid I'll break my reader whenever I take the H2O out of its cover...
The important things for me are:
- It looks awesome. The work is very nicely done.
- It really protects the reader. I think the case is sturdier than the Gecko one on my H2O (less chance of twisting). I feel safe putting this thing in my bag. And that's what it was all about, at least for me.
