Sony DPT-S1 13inch e-reader will let you take notes on top of PDFs and also draw your own little doodles.

It is lighter than most 9.7 inchers and is specifically made for reading and annotating PDFs. You can hold it comfortably with one hand and use the other hand for annotating.

It really is the best PDF e-reader out there, I like it better than iPad Air 2 for longer reading sessions (it is lighter than iPad!).

The screen is great if your eyes prefer e-ink over regular monitor/tablet LCDs.

However Sony DPT-S1 does nothing else just PDFs, no .epubs, nothing else.

It also has a tabbed interface so you can have multiple PDFs open.

The one thing I am unsure is Onenote support.
