I 'fixed' the bending issue by taping some paper on the inside of the case. It doesn't bend my KA1 anymore, but the case itself is still visibly bent when looking at it from the side. It's actually very sturdy and tight-fitting now. I also managed to get rid of the smell with white vinegar.
I hate sending things back and besides, it's only 20 euros. It's probably because I'm still not used to buying things online from other EU countries. I live in a country where return policies are extremely bad and sending things back means waiting weeks for a replacement (if it's even an option).
