President Kennedy was an intelligent and articulate man. However, I can't help but think that there was a ghost writer. I feel certain that Kennedy selected the individuals (were there any women among the people selected? Well, it was a different country then than it is today . . . .), but someone else did the research and writing.

I'm much more confident that some celebrities today who crank out full-length books, with their names in the bylines, about every 3 months or so, employ others to "help" them. There is no way that they could do all else that they do and research (if necessary) and write a book. If so, I'm sure that there are lots of doctoral candidates who would love to know their secrets to help them produce their dissertations.

This has piqued my interest. I'm going to Google and see if there are any websites that identify ghost writers for various books.
