AFAIK. "vnd." stands for vendor and the message is displayed because Sigil 0.9.7 added page-template.xpgt editing support and application/vnd.adobe-page-template+xml is not one of the core media types defined in the epub standards.

Earlier epubcheck versions used to flag epubs with xpgt files as a problem, but this was relaxed in later versions.
