Apparently it wasn't a big deal. My father hooked up the faucet within minutes (after he found his box with connector thingies, which took a lot longer).

Thank you. I'm currently dividing my wishlist into to two: items I will buy whether they are on sale or not and a list of thing I'll buy if it's a good deal. Then I have a third list of things my father wants.
