Oh yeah. The book was on sale. I believe the usual price is $6.99/7.99. I've looked at it before.
It's just odd that his first book is... let's call it $8. His third book is $8. But his second book is $10. These are three stand-alone books by a midlist (or lower) author. All roughly the same length with no crazy formatting or anything. All about ten years old. All published by the same publisher.
