Hi Bob,

Open a Box account (easiest) and sync from there. It's free. ShareFile works as well but you have to pay monthly.

Create a Box.com account. Download and install the desktop Box.com app (its easier to move files around using this). If you have a smart phone you can also download the app as well. Create a folder you want your DPT-S1 to access to. For example "Sony DPT-S1"

On your DPT-S1, go to your network settings and input the following:

Box.com Settings

Server: https://dav.box.com/dav
Port: 443
Username: Your Box.com username
Password: Your Box.com password
Sync Folder: /Sony DPTS1 <---- this is the folder you create first on your Box.com account (you can name it something else)
Destination Folder: /

or

ShareFile Settings

Server: https://YOURCOMPANYNAME.sharefile-webdav.com <--- This is the name of your company (make one up) when you first opened the ShareFile account, it asks you for this. Replace YOURCOMPANYNAME with whatever name you used.
Port: 443
Username: Your ShareFile email you used when opening the account
Password: Your ShareFile password
Sync Folder: /My Files & Folders <--- This the default folder at your ShareFile account
Destination Folder: Empty or /

If you have WiFi sharing on your mobile phone, you can have the DPT-S1 connect to the phone and use that as your internet access using your phone's data. This way you don't always have to be within a WiFi hotspot and inputting your WiFi settings via the DPT-S1 every time you need to sync your files.

I'm sorry I don't know anything about setting up a network drive.

Good luck.
