I have a pocket disk drive (removable) in my PC, I switch around 3 in rotation to handle all of my backups.

I looked at Acronus a year ago (download a test version), but they wanted me to reformat my pocket drive in FAT format, which I can't do because I use it for other purposes and those need it to be in NTFS.

I bit the bullet and moved up from Vista Home Premium to Vista Ultimate. Backups work great. Full Image, Full Backup, incrementals on Full Backup. Works like a charm. (One of the few charms there is about Vista!)

I would recommend anyone who buys a new computer, and has a choice of which version of Vista they get, go directly to Ultimate from the start. Well worth the investment and no need to worry about backups anymore.

WDE.
