Didn't try that, as there's free software (always free) that'll do what it does and is also easy to use. For videos, use Handbrake. It has built-in presets for Android/iPhone already, and does a great job. You can tweak the settings if you want more control, but you don't need to.

I use this, and it works great. Very easy to use. I highly recommend it.
