I have $50 from a failed Prime Day gift card offer. The GC didn't arrive on the day promised and I needed it for a gift that weekend. I called to cancel it so I could get it at a local store instead. Amazon said it had already shipped. I then explained my situation; so they issued a refund and said I could keep the card and use it if it ever arrived. It finally did so, over a week late. I used the free $10 credit from that promo to buy an Echo remote.
I also have a $10 credit because I called Amazon last week asking when they planned to add Music Unlimited to the Fire Phone. They said they'd pass it along and issued a $10 credit because of the inconvenience of my not having it. I'm not holding my breath on this one since Amazon has pretty much given up on properly upgrading the phone.
They did the same thing when I inquired about adding Prime Music to the Fire Phone two years ago. I got a $10 credit at that time too.
Anyway, that's how I got $60 from Amazon.
