We're alike in both ways, badgoodDeb.
This is a period of history that was almost a complete blank in my mind until I listened to
The Greatest Knight [William Marshal], written by Thomas Ashbridge and narrated by Derek Perkins. I had bought the audio of
The Plantagenets, written by Dan Jones and narrated by Clive Chafer (a
great listen, btw) two or three years ago and hadn't gotten around to listening to it. I probably will wait quite a bit of time still to do it, in order to focus on improving what are now weaker areas of my knowledge of history.
Likewise, for some reason, I just can't get "into" streaming audio. I want to
own it, so that I can listen to it on my own terms, not the ones of the company providing the audio.
