However, surviving a Calibre Convert (EPUB->EPUB) isn't an unreasonable expectation, so I will look into whether I can make it work for anthologies. Might not be until next week, though.
Teaching the UnMerge feature of EpubMerge how to deal with post-convert epubs is a pain.

However, a small tweak to FanFicFare would make it possible to manually split the anthology epub (with EpubSplit), update individual books, then manually merge them back together again (with EpubMerge). A couple new features to EpubSplit might even make it something approaching easy.

FYI, that's the path I'm looking at right now, anyway. Judging by the lack of discussion, it's not a huge priority.
