It's not a matter of point of view!
Very simply again, you can type everything you want in the text widget of "send to kindle", it just ignores it! It's a fact, not a philosophical theory.
The fact that you inject in the metadata the info before sending, ensures that title and author are already set inside the ebook and that's why you can see them in the kindle.
I said that you confirmed that because you stated that you change metadata and process the ebook before sending it. So you are not leveraging of the send to kindle app
