I tend to hold my Kobo in my left hand, thumb on the bezel, the rest of my hand supporting the device. I have to use my right hand to turn pages. I really miss my old Nook STG, where I could read one handed, changing pages with my thumb.

Sometimes when I'm really slouched down in a chair, I hold the Kobo in both hands, index fingers in the sides and thumbs along the bottom, almost making my hands a(n American) football goal.

I've learned whatever I do, be careful with the bottom of the device as I have accidentally ejected the SD card. That was really poorly designed by Kobo (the covered SD card slot is another thing I miss about the Nook).
