I keep thinking I should find something to buy at the Harlequin sale, but most of the ones I bought at the big Christmas sale a few years back are still in my TBR (many were ones I'd already read/owned in print).

Plus I still have 20 or so coupon codes and lots of points. So I think I shall sit this sale out.

I don't mind getting newsletters from authors when they actually have info about upcoming new releases, sales, or free short stories, deleted scenes, etc. But this author has sent me about 15 emails all just asking me to rate the book. Every time I get one it makes me not want to read it I tend to take the page at the end of indie author books out that asks readers to leave a review. I don't like the practice.
