I think a 4.7" screen would be ideal. My current phone, a Nexus 5, has a 5" screen. My previous one, a Moto E, had a 4.5" screen. For reading I prefer the 4.5" screen. I had to switch to an unlocked phone because I get free service on this one from Medicare and I couldn't on the other one.
I can't read on the phone for extended periods but I enjoy every minute of reading on it. I wish I could read more on it. That's why the Yotaphone is so tempting. But it's a lot of money to spend for something that I suspect isn't going to work well for reading, based on the reviews of it I read when it first came out.
Anyway, I'll be waiting to hear what you say.
