It's hard to believe that here it is Friday again.

The last YourClassical free download of the week (there is none on Saturday (or Sunday)) is a ballet (or, I suppose, more accurately, music to accompany a ballet?)--Jacques Ibert's Jean's Fan: Valse.

There is so much foreign language on the cover of this album that I can hardly make out what's what. But I can tell that it is performed by Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire, with John Axelrod conducting. That much I can make out.

For those MobileReaders who are better at deciphering this stuff (which would be, uh, basically anyone else), there's more information about the whole Naxos album, from which this free piece comes, here on this webpage. It appears that the free piece is from the part of the album called L'Eventail de Jeannie.

To download the 3 minute, 51 second free MP3 piece, point your browser to this webpage, then click on the "Direct MP3 download link" link.
