I have mine in a regular type case and THEN I put it in the pouch for traveling. The pouches are nice because they don't show what the device is and offer some soft padding around it when in with other things. The pouch I have is quilted (There's a layer of quilting pad between two layers of fabric). I have only one example of TeresaMade pouches and that particular one has very light padding between the two layers of fabric, but you could request heavier quilting if you wanted. Quilting comes in multiple types/densities. I have two pouches (one is TeresaMade one is one I made). I have heavy quilting in one and light in the other. TeresaMade pouches are way nicer than anything I can make!
