While I'm thinking of it, I find it sooooo annoying when publishers repeat over and over promotion of a particular title, though. It seems that religious publishers may be the worst about it. And these are usually publishers that have a huge numbers of titles in print. I have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, and I still don't understand the rationale (but the B.S. was long prior to public access to the Internet, digital books, etc. and therein may lie the reason for my bewilderment).
What pleasantly bewilders me is when a publisher rotates it's freebies through all of a particular author's work. I've now acquired all of Molly Thynne's mysteries due to Dean Street Press having made them free over the last few weeks thus removing any need to buy for completeness sake.
