Luzme emailed me early this morning that Cast in Flight (the 12th novel in the Chronicles of Elantra) by Michelle Sagara (West) was on sale at Amazon UK, Google UK, and Kobo UK for £1.99. This was a surprise because this title isn't due out until 10/25/2016, so it's still a pre-order.

I'm guessing that it's a price mistake, so who knows how long it will be available at this price. Google has already changed their entry to not available yet and has a separate listing for this title at the normal price. US stores have it at $7.99.

Yes the series is from Harlequin, and yes there are strong romantic elements, but IMO it's not really a romance. The earlier books in the series were published by Harlequin's Luna imprint, which as I understand things, was to be their SF&F imprint. Since HarperCollins bought Harlequin, it's gotten folded into their Mira imprint (paranormal romance?). Also since the HarperCollins merger, the books are not discountable.

So, I normally order from Amazon UK using a gift card and from Kobo UK using Paypal, but both stores require a credit/debit card for pre-orders. I'm not in a position to use a credit/debit card internationally right now

, so does anyone have an idea on how I can pre-order at either one? Thanks.
