Ugh, another victim of the battery drainage problem here.

After being on team 'actual book' for the longest time, I decided it was time to no longer carry heavy 800+ pages books around. The KA1 seemed absolutely perfect, and in many ways it is. But, same as most here the battery of my device drops between 5-10% every hour (no wifi, no auto-light, no sync). I understand the battery will not last the advertised 30 days when using the device for a couple of hours every day, but this is pretty ridiculous. As not everyone seems to be experiencing this problem, would it make sense to return the device and get one from a later/other batch or should I 'patiently' wait this one out? I have some additional things that kinda annoy me but as a first time user I'm not sure if this is standard or if my device has been hit on the head a bit too hard, so could anyone tell me if the following things are normal? (sorry not 100% on topic, but i wasn't able to find anything about this anywhere and the answers will help me decide whether to return the device or not )
- when auto-light is on, the percentage of light will often go from 8 to 9 to 10 to 11, and back again in a couple of seconds. Even when the light in the room is stable and my KA1 is laying on a flat surface. This is actually the initial reason why I turned the auto-light off.
- Even though you do not need to do a tremendous amount of typing on an e-reader, if I do have to type something the letters will only appear about 1.5-2 seconds after I've typed them. Is this delay normal?
- when switching from a book to the main menu (or vice versa), the pages seem to very quickly alternate a couple of times before I get to the page I want to go to. This seems a bit buggy, but maybe it's a feature?

Thanks all!
