I got one PRS-505 from Waterstones in Novembre and there was no problem. I used normal mail (not DHL) it took about 10 working days. I'm not sure, because when it arrived I was away, it probably spent some days in my mailbox (blame it on Correos espaņoles...) but luckily nobody stole it...
I guess that closer to the holiday season they started having problems...
