No, "Recent" is something else and it is used in all the lists. It is associated with the book, not the collection. It is either the last time the book was read, or, if it has not been opened yet, when the book was added to the device. Because it can change, it isn't suitable to be manipulated.

This can be done using a metadata plugboard. When the book is sent to a device, calibre can fiddle with some of the metadata. The metadata plugboads do this. A popular one is to add the series information at the start of the title. One of the other users here, jackie_w I think, adds it to the end of the author. https://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/Kobo...nd_Collections has some details for doing this, and there is more general discussion here in the calibre forum about it.

If you decide to do this, the Update Metadata function in the plugin can update the title or author for books already on the device. This can the metadata plugboard when doing it.
