Gave up Linux when I found I was spending too much time on sysadm. That some variants are, apparently, walled gardens is testament to that. Might as well use OSX - at least everyone's Syrup of Figs version would be the same

Thanks Red. I hear you about the time waste. Usually it's pretty interesting trying to figure these things out and they get easier as you go along. But still--they're a time waster.
