Thanks Doitsu. I go to Linux Questions a lot so I'll go there first. But I thought I already tried to get the stand-alone Language Tool version and failed. (My previous post: 'did I do something wrong?')

And don't I already have Oracle (that first screenshot in post #33) or do I need a different version?
LOL This is seeming very confusing.
And I have always had issues with Java. I can hardly believe it's so successful.
