I've been hoping the Euro model is right, as well. Back when Sandy was a growing storm the Euro model was the first to predict it would make a "left hook," gather strength, and wallop us.

On Monday night the Euro model was calling for Matthew to turn further east, into the Atlantic. That still looks good, and other models are beginning to agree.

But I'll feel better about things early next week!



In the meantime, the dead hickory came down this morning.
