Like the idea of having Spotify Premium, but put off by the
$14.99 per month charge for each person in your family?
Well, I got an email a little while ago letting me know about their new Premium for Family plan. You can get up to 6 accounts for the
$14.99 per month.
Sounds like a good deal if you have even two people in your family (that would be $7.50 each. Wow!). But for six people that would be only $2.50 each per month!
I like Spotify, myself. The main benefit of Premium, in my opinion, is that it is ad-free. And the last few times that I've used the regular Spotify, it seems like their ads are far more numerous/more frequent than they used to be. But you can investigate all about the plan and things like that by following the link that I'll give you in a second.
Terms and conditions apply. Everyone in the family has to reside at the same address. And, probably people like your first cousin by marriage, once removed and people like that are not going to be eligible.
The only potential problem that I see is if you've got deadbeats in your family. It could be frustrating for you to get everyone in his or her family to put their share of money in the jar every month like they're supposed to. And you end up with the job of bill collector.
See what you think.
