I joined at half price. I'll admit the choice of free book was uninspiring. I only read MM Romance and they had one book from that genre, it was over £3 and I already have it, paid 99p from Amazon. Anyway picked up a book for hubby.
I shouldn't have bothered to join tbh but Kobo wouldn't allow a refund. Kobo's books are just so much more expensive than Amazon, plus buying from Amazon opens me up to Audible whispersync potential later on, which is really handy for Dreamspinner books.
I've already turned off auto renewal and I'll be lucky to amass the minimum points for a 2400 point book. Still live and learn
