FREE PDF Book on the Life of Stephen F. Austin.

Yee haw!

The Texas State Historical Society announced "the launch of a new series of seven eBooks offering an exclusive look at the Texas Revolution, including the battles and heroes that changed Texas."

They are making the first one, The Life of Stephen F. Austin, available free! It is about 50 pages long. Frankly, it doesn't look, inside, like a book published by a major publishing house. I'm not saying that that's good, or that that's bad, it's just an observation. It is very attractive inside (and out). You will get the freebie in the PDF format.

All that you have to do to get the ebook is to point your web browser to this TSHA website. On that webpage, you will be asked to enter your first and last name and a valid email address. The reason that the email address has to be valid is because that is where they will send you a link to the free book.
