My guess is that the Glo name is done, as far as Kobo is concerned. Too generic, and for one I think that's right. Aura is the new brand.
I'll continue to guess now that I'm on a roll, that with the new Aura Kobo is trying to bisect the difference between the Touch and the H2O. I bet that, especially with superior resolution, the Glo HD was seen as siphoning sales from the H2O. So they introduced a new, worse device that occupied more of the middle ground and that at only $10 less is more profitable per unit. Next, they'll discontinue the Touch as dated , which it is, (but keeping an eye on Amazon to see what it does with the basic Kindle).
They were never going to have both the new Aura and the Glo HD. I also don't think we'll see a new product soon.
