I also noticed my Aura is losing a lot of battery while ostensibly asleep. But this only started when I started using the sleep cover. My guess is that there's nothing wrong with the battery per se, but the implementation of the sleep cover function is faulty. When you close the cover it goes to sleep, but the device is triggered too easily (when you carry the device, or God knows how) to awaken again. This morning when I woke up it was in the middle of a search I never performed, and the line margins had been widened: somehow the device had detected action on the screen even though the cover was closed!
I suspect *this* drains the battery, not any leak.
So now I have the sleep cover, which I'll probably keep using because it also makes it easier to hold the device in one hand. But the sleep cover function doesn't work and just to be safe I revert to using the button again.
I'll check, but I think if I put it to sleep manually I don't get these huge battery drains.
